We are a small business specialising in rolling stock training. The principal, Paul, has nearly 40 years experience at all levels of locomotive and rolling stock maintenance. Other trainers we use have similar years of experience and are all trade qualified.

Completing fitting and machining and mechanical engineering with the NSW railway, Psul has worked as a maintainer, supervisor, depot manager, operations trouble officer, project engineer and reliability engineer involved in such projects the first ECP trains and AC locomotive in Australia and greenfield project management establishing Queensland Rail into NSW.

With post graduate qualifications in OHS, management and reliability engineering and diploma of training design and development, Paul is well placed to develop and present the courses and services offered.

Our mission

Having long recognised the need for training the next generation of rollingstock maintainers in practical maintenance skills as well as fault finding and diagnostic processes, our mission is to provide the training and skills for a well rounded and effective maintainer.

Through our books and training materials, we aim to provide a simple and effective permanent record of systems used in rail maintenance to the level of detail needed for effective maintenance and fault finding - simplifying the detail in many OEM manuals and capturing real world experience.

Our work in this regard never finishes as new equipment and methods are developed or found and training and training materials are updated.
