Locomotive maintainers, supervisors and reliability staff maintaining ECP brake equipment.
Course Overview
The course covers the principals and functions of ECP and its relationship with train brake operational criteria. This is important to understand the programmed behavior of ECP and fault diagnosis and repair as well as maintenance and inspection criticality. The course also looks at ECP component functions and its relationship with other locomotive control systems.
Course duration
The course duration in normally 2 days. This can be extended for ECP train testing.
Costs
Course costs will be based per the booked course and number of participants after requirements are finalised. Nominal cost for this course is about $5000 plus expenses.
